'Image & Perception of the West' interactive DVD

A collaborative initiative of Melbourne's 6 western region councils (Brimbank, Hobsons Bay, Maribyrnong, Melton, Moonee Valley & Wyndham) – the brief was to plan & implement the production of an interactive DVD for distribution to state & federal government departments to advocate the clients vision of improved image & perception in the west (primarily transport corridor infrastructure). The concept was developed through workshops & meetings.

The DVD takes a journey through the West via the existing transport corridors, pointing out the positive aspects of the region, current & projected statistics, the issues & future vision. The DVD concludes with 4 short animations suggesting opportunities for cost effective improvements to existing infrastructure.

The packaging is designed to support the content of the DVD.

The project won by selective tender, supervised by City of Maribyrnong & delivered in March 2008. It was launched at the historic Sun Theatre in Yarraville on May 22.
